Greg Turner

Greg has 16 years of experience as a writer and editor for daily and weekly newspapers.  As Vice President, he develops and executes strategic communications projects for Ball Consulting Group clients.

Greg previously served as Deputy Business Editor at the Boston Herald, where he helped direct news coverage of regional and national interest.  He also wrote extensively about Boston’s commercial real estate market, including stories detailing major building projects across the city.  Additionally, he has provided commentary on NECN’s “This Week in Business,” WGBH’s “Greater Boston,” Fox News, and local talk radio programs.

Prior to the Herald, Greg held the position of Business Editor with The MetroWest Daily News.  He also was an editor and reporter at The Concord Journal, where he also took photos, wrote editorials and launched a quarterly publication focused on the vibrant local arts scene.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Boston University, where he also minored in Spanish.  Prior to attending BU, he spent a year living with a family in Valencia, Spain, on an intercultural exchange sponsored by the American Field Service.

In 2003, Greg co-edited with his father a book titled, “As Told: The Journals of Lewis and Clark,” a standardized and modernized narrative constructed from the surviving journals of the members of the 1804 Lewis and Clark expedition of the American interior.
