Sept. 21, 2020 – All of our clients have been impacted to one extent or another by the coronavirus pandemic. Heath care, human services, education, technology and community-based organizations all quickly adapted to school closures, social distancing, work-from-home guidelines, and strict quarantine orders from authorities.
Skilled nursing facilities – also known as nursing homes – would face their greatest challenge ever. We recount how we helped nursing navigate the darkest days of COVID-19 crisis in this case study.

Aug. 5, 2020 – Ball Consulting Group, LLC has received a Lamplighter Award from NESHCo, the New England Society for Healthcare Communications.
With 285 submissions vying for more than 60 major awards, the 30th Annual Lamplighter Awards recognizes the best of the best in healthcare communications across the region. NESHCo judges honored our firm in the Excellence in Writing category for an op-ed with Sherrill House, “Nailing a rung into the nursing home career ladder,” published in CommonWealth Magazine.

May 28, 2020 – Ball Consulting Group, LLC President David Ball was recently quoted in The MetroWest Daily News, for the newspaper’s story on crisis communications for nursing homes dealing with difficult circumstances during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are dealing with this every day at our firm, talking about numbers of positive cases, talking about deaths, and it’s a very challenging thing,” Ball said.
